- 01You do not need to be in crisis, have a diagnosis, or be falling apart to deserve support. If something feels off, if you are tired of carrying it alone, or if you are just ready to understand yourself better, that is enough to start.
- 02Not at all. Some of the most meaningful therapy work happens with people who look completely fine on the outside and are quietly exhausted on the inside. The fact that you are functioning does not mean you are thriving. You are allowed to want more than just getting through the day.
- 03I work with adults navigating:Anxiety and worryDepression and low moodPerfectionism and high-achieving exhaustionSelf-esteem and self-worthPersonal growth and identityStress and burnoutRelationship challenges and communicationThe fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood journeyNot sure if your concern is on this list? Reach out anyway. That is exactly what the free consultation is for.
- 04Accepting, honest, and nothing like what most people picture. Sessions feel more like a real conversation than a clinical appointment. We examine the things causing you stress, challenge the patterns and perspectives keeping you stuck, increase your confidence by investing in your strengths, and create space for human emotion and mistakes. The goal is always to help you embrace your true worth, not a perfect version of yourself, but a genuine one.
- 05Nothing is too complicated, too uncomfortable, or too taboo to bring into this space. Identity, grief, shame, resentment, sexuality, relationship structures that do not fit the standard script, the thoughts you have never said out loud to anyone. All of it is welcome here. That is kind of the whole point.
- 06Yes, this is a genuinely affirming and accepting space for all cultural backgrounds, relationship structures, sexualities, genders, life experiences, body types, and religious backgrounds. I work with people who have felt othered, unseen, or like they had to leave part of themselves at the door of a therapy office. You do not have to do that here. All of you is welcome, including the parts you have been most afraid to show.
- 07Yes. All relationship structures and configurations are welcome here, including same-sex partnerships, polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous relationships, and any relationship that does not fit the traditional mold. You will never need to explain or justify how you love here.
- 08Yes, absolutely. Some of the most powerful relationship work happens in individual therapy. Understanding your own patterns, communication style, attachment needs, and sense of worth in relationships can transform every relationship in your life, whether your partner is in the room or not. You do not need anyone else's participation to start doing this work.
- 09Absolutely. Therapists need support too and this is a space where your credential does not change anything about how we work together. You will not be analyzed through a clinical lens or treated differently because of your professional background. You are a person first and you deserve the same space to be honest, uncertain, and human that anyone else does. Many of the people I work with are fellow clinicians and I take that trust seriously.
- 10Sessions are 45-55 minutes long. How often we meet depends on your goals and what feels right for you. Many clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and establish our relationship, then transition to meeting every other week as things progress. We will figure out the cadence that actually works for your life.
- 11There is no one-size-fits-all answer here and I will never push you to stay longer than feels right. Some people come for a specific season of life and wrap up in a few months. Others find value in longer-term work. We check in on your goals regularly and you always have a say in how long we work together.
- 12Yes. Everything shared in our sessions is protected by HIPAA and professional ethics standards. There are a small number of legal exceptions, including situations involving imminent safety concerns or mandatory reporting requirements, and I will walk you through all of that in our first session so there are no surprises. Within those boundaries, what you share stays between us.
